Madeon proves one thing consistently: Age means nothing. The sophistication and creativity conveyed in his productions project him as wise beyond his years. ‘The City’ is a phenomenal emphasis of his futuristic nu-disco vibe, and picks up right where he left off with ‘Finale’ and ‘The Night Out’. In fact, this track reminds me of, dare I say it, Daft Punk. The synths in The City bare a striking similarity to those used in ‘Digital Love’, a track largely responsible for my love of dance music. This is high praise, but EHusky has no problem delivering it. In Madeon we trust.
