Now I’m sure you all remember belting out “It’s too late to apologize” at prom and whatnot. And at this point is seems as though it’s too late to remix, but if that’s your sentiment then you were sorely mistaken. Ferry Tayle has revamped the played out hit by giving it a makeover in the form of deep, hollow, trance-like sounds. Rest assured that this mix is heavy on the new and very shy about utilizing the old; just what we hoped for. This is definitely going to be one of my new highway driving songs. Check it out…

Oh what’s that? Armin just released a new track? Yeah… and it came about more or less under the radar, an occurrence that is uncharacteristic of most releases from major producers. From the sound of “We Are Here To Make Some Noise”, it appears as though the Dutch master of trance has gravitated a bit towards the world of hard-hitting electro. While this tune is likely an isolated incident of the aforementioned phenomenon, Armin has successfully created a stunning blend of grinding synths and beautifully airy trance. We’re fans of this inspired production, and surely you will be, too.

My first question is: Where was this at Cosmic Opera? It should honestly be the theme song. With an other-worldly, intergalactic vibe, this jam is designed to catapult you into another dimension. It had this effect on me, and not just because I’ve been up studying for days. Following a trance-heavy build, the track bridges the gap with beautiful chords reminiscent of classical music. Wasting no time, Sixma & Sabanci drop an airy synth to heighten your anticipation prior to the stellar drop. It’s been awhile since I heard a song like this that caught my ear, but this is truly something special. Apparently, Armin thought so as well, as it was featured on his A State of Trance Radio Show.

This, my friends, is trance at its absolute finest. Fisher has been a phenomenal vocalist for many years, but this track just further solidifies her prowess. “Angel” is everything you might imagine those celestial beings from above to be in musical form. High, airy synths progress beautifully into a playful and euphoric drop. What more could you ask for in a trance anthem? My hat goes off to both Thrillseekers and Fisher, and you can bet that I’ll be bumping this in the morning, day and night. Pump that volume and get ready for a ride with the Thrillseekers…

Tiburon (Original Mix) – Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous Oxide is a pretty aggressive name, but then again so is this track. Unrelenting synths gnaw at your eardrums leaving you teeming with adrenaline, much like you would be after a shark attack. Hence the name “Tiburon”. I won’t lie, Nitrous Oxide was previously unfamiliar to me, but this song has left me in a state of desire for more of these infectious beats. “Tiburon” is most accurately described as outrageous in only the best way possible.

Dash Berlin has been one of my favorite trance artists for quite some time now, and he never fails to utilize the skills of talented vocalists. “Go It Alone” is really light trance, so as to emphasize atmospheric synths along with the vocals. It sounds almost like an electronic orchestra, sent back from the future in order to deliver you a perfect tune to start the day. If you ever have the opportunity to see Dash Berlin live, I highly recommend it.

Featured in EHusky’s April mix, “Carry Me” is a track I could not resist posting. This is piano-driven, progressive trouse at its finest. Morgan Page has been doing this forever, and Nadia Ali’s vocals fit into the brilliant melody like perfectly placed puzzle pieces. Regardless of what’s going on in your life, this is the type of jam that will give you the boost you need to get through the day, or at least the next 7 minutes. Smooth and delicious synths pulse and roll on as the track careens down the road to exquisiteness. Morgan Page is a true master of his trade; “Carry Me” is the ultimate testament to this claim. Enjoy this one… over and over and over…

Flying Blind (Tom Fall Remix) – Cosmic Gate & Jes

When I first saw this track I was overcome with excitement. For one thing, Jes is a more than consistent, and very talented vocalist that often adds quite a bit to a trance jam. Secondly, Tom Fall has recently become one of my favorite producers within the trance genre. He rejuvenates tracks with unmatched energy and a overwhelming power that is often not seen in trance. “Flying Blind” is one of those songs that has the ability to take you for a ride to your “happy place” and back. Sitting here and listening to it right now is making me feel very compelled to go see some live trance. Hopefully if has the same effect on you.
