This track has been out for a while (in the current music climate 3 weeks counts as a long time) and I really think everybody should give it a listen.  I used to rock out to Kill Paradise back in the days defined by teenage angst and it’s awesome to see familiar artists experimenting with new genres.  James Egbert’s production has impressed me nearly every time I listen to his tracks and this song is no different.  The poppy synth sounds combined with the heavy bass are an amazing combination and I’m really digging all the new directions bass music has been taking recently.  I’m including the VIP of Sub Focus’s  banger Falling Down, and if you’re not already familiar with the original then I’d suggest checking it out.  Turn it up and get down.

Flashing Lights (KillSonik Remix) – Chase and Status & Sub Focus

Currently, I’m on the study grind as I’m sure many of you are as well.  I’m using this post as a distraction and we could all use a little break from the inherent stress of finals.  Killsonik’s remix of “Flashing Lights” knocks me out of my chair every time I listen to it.  This track combines disgusting high pitched saw sounds with a hard hitting bass drum.  Killsonik also has a filthy remix of Nero’s “Crush on You” that I’m including for you auditory pleasure.  I’d recommend familiarizing yourself with the original Flashing Lights considering the level of production behind it.  If you haven’t heard, Chase and Status have been killing the scene forever and Sub Focus has quite the resume as well.  Turn it up and get down and support the artist.

Laidback Luke has been in the spotlight recently at EHusky after a stunning performance in Cancun, and after coming off two huge shows in Manhattan. As I’ve said on Twitter, Luke’s performances are anything but laidback. He’s an incredible stage presence, and a force to be reckoned with behind the ones and twos. And let’s not forget his sensational ability to produce fresh and imaginative beats. Think of this remix of “Out The Blue” as Nicky Romero’s “Toulouse”… if it transformed into a horrifically destructive monster, terrorizing audiences and forcing them to dance… Or else.
